Another stage of life : work

<this post have already been in my draft for about 3 years now, but I haven't had a chance to posted it. So here it goes, dedicated to all the fresh graduate student who still don't know what will it be like in this stage of life. Enjoy!>

<May 2012>

I have a job as a business analyst now.

Ga percaya? Sama dong. Gue juga.

Gue ga percaya kalo gue sekarang udah bukan pengangguran lagi. Perasaan baru kemaren gue stress gara gara mau sidang S1.

Mau gak mau, gue harus belajar semua istilah finance and accounting tadi kalo mau ngobrol sama user. Gak mungkin kan planga plongo doang pas dia ceritain proses bisnis? Gue baru kerja di AHM minggu kedua tapi gue udah tau banyak masalah sistem produksi motor, gimana sistem transaksi disini, gimana kalo mau pesen barang di Supplier dll. Gue akuin itu ga gampang, gue butuh nanya terus ke leader, googling berhari hari, bahkan pinjem buku accounting dari Rio yang gue curiga selama ini cuman dijadiin buat ganjelan mobil sama dia saking tebelnya. Tapi disitu tantangannya, dan gue yakin kalo gue jalanin terus, itu bisa jadi nilai lebih gue nantinya, karena gue lulusan IT yang ngerti tentang finance and accounting.

Dan sekarang gue resmi jadi bagian dari keluarga Astra, how am I not proud?

Bangkok Getaway! Part 1

Hey Guys! How's life?

I hope you've had a good times like I did :D

So this year I finally could do a short getaway to Bangkok! Woohooo. After all the things that I've been through with thesis thing, this getaway is the best getaway I've ever had :D

I bought a ticket to Bangkok last year with Nidia. We bought those ticket without think twice, without asked anyone again whether they wanted to come with us or not. We just wanna get our holiday! The plane scheduled to depart at 31th March, 16:35 PM from CGK to BKK and back here at 3rd April, 20:40 PM from BKK to CGK.

Flight Details

Actually this is the first time I'm going abroad without family and other adults, so I prepared everything well before the schedule. I booked the hotel, exchanged money, done a research about Bangkok from the transportation, maps and a must have visit place there.

The day come, I met Nidia at the airport at 1PM. We did a checked in, prayed, and eaten at the airport first and nicely sat in the gate to wait for the plane. Then we flight to Bangkok!

Dear Bangkok, here we come!

At 20:00 PM, we got there! Finally, after waited for so long :'D Svarnabhumi Airport Bangkok was really nice and crowded! We have to queued for about 1 hour to took care of immigration thingy. But fortunately we met a cute foreigner from UK, so it didn't feel that long :p

Svarnabhumi Airport, right after hop out from the plane
After that we bought a local simcard, but for tourist. The simcard name is Happy, it cost 500 THB for Full Blackberry Service for 1 weeks. It's quite expensive actually, but we didn't have much option. Then, we took a taxi to the Baiyoke Suite Hotel at Pratunam. It cost 400THB included the toll fee. We arrived at the hotel at 11PM and the area near hotel was really quiet. It's a lil bit scary. At first, we planed to go to the market near the hotel at 5 AM, but we scared that the street still dark, quiet and scary, so we went out from the hotel at 5.30AM. But we were wrong, when we go downstairs the street was already crowded! Because the market was located right in front of the hotel! There were a lot of shirts, dresses, shoes, pants, skirts, and other accessories all in the cheap price! When I first looked at the market, all I said that 'Man, I love this place!' :D We bought a couple of shirt there and also bought a breakfast. We ate our breakfast at the hotel room, took a bath, dressed up and ready to hit Chatuchak Market!

We go downstairs and ask the hotel bell boy about how could we get to Chatuchak. They said we could rode a taxi, tuk tuk or bus. So we challenge ourself to rode a bus. With just 17 THB for 2 person, we get to Chatuchak Market!

Chatuchak Market is a market that only open at Saturday and Sunday, so it attracted tourist, including me, to go there. The market was so big and sold a lot of things from outfits, shoes, accessories, handicrafts, and even pets! We want to bought everything because it costs cheaper than in Jakarta. After walked around and shopped, we were reaaaaaly hungry. So we search for moslem food in that market. Alhamdulillah we found it in no time. We ate kebuli rice with chicken and ice thai tea only 100THB :D

After we ate, we walked around the market again and took some photo. Then we planned to went back to hotel using MRT. But we don't sure where we should stop. We asked the security and unfortunately he can't speak english. So we just said the area where our hotel located and he kinda understand. He told us that we could use it and stop at Pecthaburi. We rode MRT happily and when we stop at Petchaburi...... we didn't know where should we do next! Okaaaay, officially lost in Bangkok. But I didn't feel worry at all. We tried to asked someone but they couldn't even understood what we said. So we took a taxi to go back to hotel. Mwahaha it's quite fun actually!

After we rested for a while at the hotel to pray, we went to Platinum Shopping Mall which located near our hotel. We bought a bunch of shoes there. Then we found a cart in front of the Platinum Shopping Mall which sold chicken sausage (Insya Allah Halal) for 50THB. It was the 2nd most delicious food that I've ever had after Indomie Goreng!

The first day were so great, but exhausted as hell. So after we got back to our hotel room, we just ate popmie and then went to sleep right away. We still had 2 more days to enjoy our getaway in Bangkok! The part 2 and part 3 of my bangkok getaway will be posted soon! :D

Happy Birthday Ir. Aries Nugroho Wiesnuadji

As you can see, your little daughter are grown up now. I already graduated from college and now I’m in a halfway to be an employer, just like you ♥

You know, You’re the person I miss the most! All I can do is just talk to you trough my prayers and visit you to your graveyard. I know you’ve always been in my side and still guiding me from heaven. But it’s just sad to know that I’m not having you to talked to and hugging you anytime I want.

Then when I woke up at 8 AM, I went down and all of my families were gathering there. They sang me a happy birthday song! And then my cousins tied me and took me to the back of the house. One of my cousin poured a water to my head. Then my grandmother came, she kiss my cheek and congratulate me. But then she took a flower water and then poured it to my head! Haha. That's the first time in the history of my family that my grandma take a part to do a prank :D Then after that, my cousin poured me more water from yoghurt, pulpy orange, soup, fruit cocktail, tea then coffee. Oh yeah, they are evil! But I love them ♥ That is the way they do to expressed their love to me!

Happy happy 2012!

Hi everyone!

First of all, I want to wish you a happy new year! May all of our new-year-resolution will come true!

I want to share some picts from my new year!

Its a rainy season in Jakarta now. It will rain everyday and its kinda annoying when you have to do something place outdoor. Moreover, the traffic jam that follow the rain is crazy! I had to spent 3 hours from Bendungan Hilir to Kemanggisan! And that is insane.

2012 just started for a week, but I already think that this year would not gonna be as awesome as I expected. Because this January is already the busiest month of the year for me! I have some work to do from AIESEC, I have to take a TOEFL test, then I have to do an apps-launching, then  I have to make a questionnaire related to my apps, and I have to do a 'pra-sidang' also. It's pretty scary, I'm afraid I can't handle it :(

Truthfully, I can't get a good sleep at night. I always haunted by the thought of my responsibilities in campus life and also AIESEC. I already applied all the way to arranged a schedule for myself, but I'm still find a lot of difficulties. My to-do-lists are increases day by day. It feels like after I finished 1, there will be 5 more new things to do. I think I will be crazy by the end of the month :(

But now I want to make a resolution for my self, and I will do my best to achieve it. So, my resolutions are :

1. Graduated
2. Get a job
3. Traveling to other country
4. Have a new phone
5. Have a partner *blush*
6. Have a constant weight 45-46
7. Being a host family for AIESEC Binus
8. Have a savings
9. Make a record for every financial thing
10. Keep healthy and be more pretty

Please lead me to achieve all of it, God :)
Okay then, I gotta go. Still have some work to do this morning, the Exchange Participant is need my help :)

Adios!

Korean Cuisine :9

Hi you guys! How's life?
Mine is great :) It's almost 9 AM and like usual, I feel hungry! I haven't ate rice since yesterday because I have this 'diet battle' with Yuni and we bet to lose 3 kg in 1 month. The one who lose will paying the other for creambath haha. It's not a real bet tho, it just a trigger for both of us to get skinnier :p

Enough talking about diet things, now I currently in love with Korea. As you know I wanted to watched CN Blue Concert right? Actually, CN Blue is not the only Korean Idols that I like. I also love 2PM, SNSD, and many more *blush* not only the idols, but I also love Korean culture. When I watched Korean drama, I was drooling because of the food. They look so delicious :9 Because of my curiosity, then I asked Nidia and Indah to accompany me to eat those Korean cuisine. So we went to SamWon House, Korean Cuisine in Wolter Mongunsidi. When we entered the restaurant, the waiter greet us using Korean language haha. Then they were kindly helped us by gave a recommendation of the food. We were relieved because that was the first time we ate Korean cuisine and we don't familiar with the menu :"> After we order, they serve a lot of side dish included Kimchi. Here are the picture of the side dish :

And here comes our first dish, it was Tteokbokki, also known as Ddeokbokki is a popular Korean snack food which is commonly purchased from street vendors. But it kinda expensive if here haha. It made from rice cake and some vegetables with a gochujang, a hot paste made from chilli peppers. Its a bit tasteless actually, but I liked it :9
Tteokbokki
Then next dish is Sogogi Bokkeum, stir-fried spicy beef on hotplate. It was awesome! My favorite meal so far! The beef was nice and the flavor was right for Indonesian people. Look at this beautiful look of Sogogi Bokkeum :)
Sogogi Bokkeum
Next dish was Dolsot Galbi bibimbap, which served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul (sautéed and seasoned vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste). A raw or fried egg and sliced meat (usually beef) are common additions. It was delicious tho :)
Dolsot Galbi Bibimbap
and the last dish that we ordered was Mandu Jeongol, jeongol usually contains sliced beef and/or seafood, vegetablesmushrooms, and other seasonings, which are boiled with a small amount of broth in a jeongolteul (pot used for cooking jeongol). They also include mandu (dumplings). It taste to sour for me, because I didn't really like the sour taste, so this is not my favorite haha
Mandu Jeongol
I love this restaurant, beside their delicious food, the serving also nice and kind. I give this restaurant 4.5 from 5 :)

That's all I want to share today! Thanks for reading, bye guys! :)
