Korean Cuisine :9

Hi you guys! How's life?
Mine is great :) It's almost 9 AM and like usual, I feel hungry! I haven't ate rice since yesterday because I have this 'diet battle' with Yuni and we bet to lose 3 kg in 1 month. The one who lose will paying the other for creambath haha. It's not a real bet tho, it just a trigger for both of us to get skinnier :p

Enough talking about diet things, now I currently in love with Korea. As you know I wanted to watched CN Blue Concert right? Actually, CN Blue is not the only Korean Idols that I like. I also love 2PM, SNSD, and many more *blush* not only the idols, but I also love Korean culture. When I watched Korean drama, I was drooling because of the food. They look so delicious :9 Because of my curiosity, then I asked Nidia and Indah to accompany me to eat those Korean cuisine. So we went to SamWon House, Korean Cuisine in Wolter Mongunsidi. When we entered the restaurant, the waiter greet us using Korean language haha. Then they were kindly helped us by gave a recommendation of the food. We were relieved because that was the first time we ate Korean cuisine and we don't familiar with the menu :"> After we order, they serve a lot of side dish included Kimchi. Here are the picture of the side dish :

And here comes our first dish, it was Tteokbokki, also known as Ddeokbokki is a popular Korean snack food which is commonly purchased from street vendors. But it kinda expensive if here haha. It made from rice cake and some vegetables with a gochujang, a hot paste made from chilli peppers. Its a bit tasteless actually, but I liked it :9
Tteokbokki
Then next dish is Sogogi Bokkeum, stir-fried spicy beef on hotplate. It was awesome! My favorite meal so far! The beef was nice and the flavor was right for Indonesian people. Look at this beautiful look of Sogogi Bokkeum :)

Next dish was Dolsot Galbi bibimbap, which served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul (sautéed and seasoned vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste). A raw or fried egg and sliced meat (usually beef) are common additions. It was delicious tho :)
Dolsot Galbi Bibimbap
and the last dish that we ordered was Mandu Jeongol, jeongol usually contains sliced beef and/or seafood, vegetablesmushrooms, and other seasonings, which are boiled with a small amount of broth in a jeongolteul (pot used for cooking jeongol). They also include mandu (dumplings). It taste to sour for me, because I didn't really like the sour taste, so this is not my favorite haha
Mandu Jeongol
I love this restaurant, beside their delicious food, the serving also nice and kind. I give this restaurant 4.5 from 5 :)

That's all I want to share today! Thanks for reading, bye guys! :)

New Ribs is a restaurant which located in Puri Indah and serving steak and ribs. I went there after I bought a voucher at www.dealkeren.com and I've got a 50% discount for this menu :D Overall the steak tasted nice but I didn't really like the sauce.

Next we have California Salmon Roll from Takigawa Sushi. I ate it at Takigawa PIM. It tasted good actually, but the price is a bit expensive. Luckily I went there with my mom, so I can eat without worried about the bill haha :p

The Script ♥

Hi guys! I'm so excited to tell you about my awesome saturday night!

So, last night is a Guinness Arthur's Day 2011, and guess who is the international guest star? Give it up for .... *drumroll* THE SCRIPT! Yea, my favorite band from Dublin, Ireland which member are Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power :)

Guinness Arthur's Day Jakarta 2011

The concert located in Pullman Ballroom, Central Park. And I watched it with Nidia, Hadi, Farrah, Gia, Danti & Mas Okky. The gate was opened at 6pm, and they said the concert will start at 7pm. It really started at 7pm, but apparently there were some singer that have to perform before The Script.

The first performer was Della Idol. She sang 2 song which is Someone like you by Adele and If I were a Boy by Beyonce. She has a really nice voice and the crowd were sing along on the first song.

Della Idol

Next performer was Mike's X GroovyL@nd. They were good though, but I personally think they played too much song, its about 6 or 7 song.

Mike's X GroovyL@nd

Not only that, there were also Gugun and The Blues Shelter. I love them of course! But I already tired and I really craving for The Script, so I didn't pay much attention on them and just sat in the corner of the Ballroom haha

Gugun and The Blues Shelter

The worst part is : the event have to break for about half hour! I felt disappointed though. Because I just waited and stood there for about 3 hours and now I have to wait for about 30 more minutes to see The Script on stage! Gaaaaahhhhhh~

But, it worth the wait because.... THE SCRIPT PERFORMANCE WAS AWESOME! I swear to God! Luckily I've had memorized the lyric so I can sing along with them in all 13 song!
Please comeback very soon, The Script! :*

Happy 22th Birthday, Odhie :)

How's life people? Nice eh?

So, I just made a surprise for my best friend, Claudia Samantha :D
Her birthday was on 7th November, then me and Dottie went to Depok to gave her a surprise. I pretend to forget her birthday and congratulate her at 1pm. But before that, I was contacted Odhie's bf, Roby, to know Odhie's exact position, and he told me that Odhie said 'Phupu belum ngucapin,by'. Sorry dhie, I've done that on purpose :p

So, I went from my dorm at 2pm and met Dottie to bought a cake at Parish, right in front of Pertamina Hospital. Actually, we planned to bought her a cupcakes, but too bad there are no cupcakes available that day. That's why we finally bought her a mini chocolate cake and flowery cookies for the topping. Then we were heading to Depok. We finally got there at 5pm and we successfully surprised her!

Happy Birthday Odhie :*

After that, we went to UI's Library which have a similar shape with Teletubbies Hills. But the interior is nice though. I love the minimalistic thing there and the best part, they have a lot of iMac instead a PC! Go Apple! *ketularan Ariau*

We went around UI, then we went to Kober. This place is heaven for cheap thing. You can find a clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, stationaries, computer accessories and any other thing with the very cheap price. So I bought some accessories and I have fallen in love with the tosca backpack but I didn't really needed it now so I was not bought it. But now, I always wondering about that bag. I really should buy it later! haha

Then Odhie treat us at Takarajima sushi, Depok. We ordered some sushi and cold ocha. The sushi there were delicious. I love the fusion sushi here, especially Salmon Kremes Mentai (if i'm not mistaken about the name :p)
Takarajima Sushi, Depok

Delicious sushi, cozy place, affordable price. I rated Takarajima Sushi Depok 8.5/10.

After that, we back to Odhie's place at Margonda Recidence to took a break and then Dottie drove me back to my dorm.

It was a very nice time with a special birthday, good friends and delicious meal :)
